I remember the pages like these in books from when I was little, with detailed illustrations of concepts that were a little beyond me. Those were the pages that really stuck with me because they were so fascinating! Of course, I only remember the feeling now, and not any of the illustations or concepts...
I am a writer and illustrator of children's books (no, not published yet.) I also spent several years as a pre-school teacher for children with autism.
