Finally

We're finally completely out of the old apartment. So much dust, i'm going to be a neat person from now on, I swear. I've been put in charge of getting the dishwasher here repaired. They bought it almost a year ago, and it never worked, so Chris' mom has been doing the dishes by hand all this time. and I thought I hated making phone calls.

Daughter-in-law

well the move is over, except for the cleaning of the refrigerator at the old apartment, but I'm still waiting for that magical time when I have nothing to do but sit at my desk and draw. I'm happy to help my in-laws with wahtever they need, but it is so frustrating to not be asked directly for anything. I always get the last minute, 'you're taking Mandy here', or 'you're picking Alex up.' Ok, i'm just annoyed i missed the first half of Smallville.

Rain

This endless rain is really getting to me. I'm lucky I don't have to be out in it, but it's throwing my schedule off completely. i wanted to get the firts round of boxes over to the new place this week, but since 75% of what I've packed so far is books I don't want to get the boxes wet. Sigh, probably a perfect excuse to sit down at my desk before I pack up my pencils, but that doesn't seem to be happening. i'll just eat some more Haloween candy.

R is for Rainbow

So I started working on letters for an alphabet book because it's an automatic 26 assignments to get me going, and there is nothing I like better than variations on a theme. I've finished 3 letters, but this is the only one I like at all right now. Unfortunately my scanner sucks and I have no patience for color correction, so the clouds have no shadow. I have an idea for the text of the book, but it's too soon to talk about it. I'm just going to keep going.
